How will one party community be built out of singles and couples?
Contrary to single parties catch&match! is open for both, singles and couples. Usually it´s not always easy to find a partner in a crowded discotheque. (Just sometimes several volunteers will lift their hands when you have just started the search - like on this photo ...).
As the championship-version of catch&match! is a competition between teams consisiting of two persons, singles do have to find a partner (at least just for the competition ...) before the game starts!
This search can optionally be supported by the discotheques in several ways:
1) The discotheque could publish a single bourse especially for catch&match! events.
2) A special area within the discotheque could be determined as a meeting point for singles who would like to join the event.
3) At this meeting point there might be a box where singles could insert a peace of paper
with their names. Among these papers couples could be combined by chance and these couples might have 15 minutes to make a binding application or not.
4) Some discotheques might provide signs like on a demonstration - but with some funny sayings. Some singles might walk through the disco with that signs and everybody will smile and know that a partner for catch&match! is wanted.
5) The last couples might be found shortly before the start of the competition according to the rules of the quick version.
What if all guests should be too shy?
Could you resist such a charming request???
What happens if there are enough couples that want to take part in the championship version of catch&match! ?
Generally speaking, the championship version can start up from a number of 2 couples. A maximum number is just limited by the time you need.
The sense of this version is to catch as many bouquets as possible. The competition can be devided into a qualifying and a final. The number of attempts (including possible test throws) will be defined individually by the hosting location.

Do we have bad times if our result in the qualifying should be too poor?
Well, not everybody has a charming tv start from the RTL TV daily soap "Gute Zeiten - Schlechte Zeiten (good times - bad times)" (GZSZ) as an assistant for handing out the bouquets ... (photo: GZSZ-star Anne Menden alias "Emily Philip" on a test-event in Berlin)
... ... but one general rule of "catch&match!" is definetely not bad - that means good if you should have a bad result in the qualification:
At least one couple will reach the final as a "lucky loser" by drawing of lots. But even among the teams with the best points there could be a lucky draw: There might be 20 ouples joining the competition and ten couples with the maximum points after the qualification. The discotheque opens the final e.g. for 3 couples only. Then 2 couples for the final will be drawn just among those 10 best couples. The "lucky loser" couple for the final will be drawn among all 18 other couples after this.

Talking about good times - bad times: On some events the time can be taken as a second criterion to find the best couples.
But we do have bad times if we don´t reach the final by drawing of lots, don´t we?
Even after being unlucky twice in this competition there may be good times for you:
1. Bad luck in the game might bring good luck in other important parts of life ...
2. Some discotheques will have e.g. at least one bottle of sparkling wine as a prize
that can be one by all couples that didn´t reach the final. This prize might be given away by drawing of lots or by throwing a bouquet in the crowd.
3. catch&match! - events are supposed to start around the world and around the year soon. So ask yourself again and again: Where do I want to party today?
4. There are several ways to win (see category win great prizes).
Could the rules of the finals be a little bit more difficult?
Maybe: in addition to the time as a second criterion, the boys might have to catch not with both hands ...
... but with one hand only ...
... or - if the final has to be extended because of equal results and the DJ loves to be a little crazy - e.g. backwards with both hands between the legs!
Is there a joker for the audience in the rules of the event?
No, but everybody out of the audience, who can hold a bottle of beer in her / his hands
meets all requirements to take part in the next event!
Will we be on tv if we should win?
Maybe there will be first tv-reports on this new global event soon. The final objective is to make catch&match! become the basis of a new global tv-show and to use the events for the casting and / or qualification:
